Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a cultural institution. You will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to visitors, staff, and guests. Job Schedule: DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Tue01:00 PM - 09:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, clergy, and program participants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior spaces, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Maintain required armed post readiness, complete accurate incident and activity reports, and follow all applicable laws, company policies, and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
