Job title: Area US Group Controller
About the Role Manage the group reporting process for the Area US. Transfer know-how and experience about administrative procedures and internal controls, and contribute to harmonization and continuous improvement of financial processes.
What You'll Do
- Manage the group reporting process for the Area US.
- Transfer know-how about administrative procedures, internal controls and share BDP's.
- Establish and fulfill standards of quality, effectiveness and efficiency in admin and financial processes, aiming for harmonization and continuous improvement.
- Support the Area Manager & Regional Controller with analysis and improvement proposals.
- Implement and develop a controlling system including Sika's Internal Control System.
- Ensure monthly/quarterly/annual group reporting complies with the Controller Handbook; analyze deviations and initiate improvements.
- Prepare and coordinate the budget and forecast process.
- Frequently visit plants/companies in the Area to deepen knowledge of local operations and financial performance.
- Analyze economic efficiency and optimize cost structure & operating margin.
What We're Looking For
- Education: Accounting degree required; CPA desirable.
- Knowledge: IFRS Standards; knowledge and application of fiscal rules.
- Experience: Areas of Accounting, Tax, Legal and Internal Audit; 5+ years in a multinational company.
- Skills: Dynamic, analytical, ability to communicate; leadership; ability to interpret financial results; entrepreneurial, competitive, imaginative, enthusiastic, confident, self-motivating, logical, analytical, systematic, precise and innovative.
