Area Sales Manager – Austria & Switzerland

About the Role You will play a central role in expanding innovative cardiovascular solutions and supporting hospitals across Austria and Switzerland in adopting modern TAVI and coronary therapies. In this strategic, clinically oriented sales position you will work closely with cath labs, cardiology departments and other decision-makers to position and grow the portfolio. What You'll Do

• Manage and develop your sales territory in Austria and Switzerland with a focus on TAVI and coronary products.
• Expand established centers and identify new market opportunities.
• Conduct clinical, technical and commercial discussions to position the portfolio in interventional cardiology and structural heart centers.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with physicians, nursing staff, technicians, purchasing teams and other stakeholders.
• Support clinical workflows in the cath lab and guide procedures during interventions.
• Analyze regional market potential and implement targeted sales strategies to achieve growth targets.
• Plan and run product trainings, workshops and clinical education sessions.
• Represent the company at professional congresses, events and regional gatherings.
• Maintain structured CRM documentation and actively manage the sales pipeline.
• Independently organize your travel within Austria. What We're Looking For
• Clinical or medical technology background, ideally with experience in the cath lab or cardiovascular therapies.
• Several years of sales experience in medical technology, preferably in complex or procedural fields.
• High communication skills and ability to build sustainable relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Willingness and ability to accompany clinical procedures operationally and to perform confidently in procedural environments.
• Self-driven, proactive, and solution-oriented with a clear results focus.
• Organizational skills and a structured working style.
• Very good German; good English for international collaboration.
• Willingness to travel within Austria. Nice to Have
