Purpose of the Job
Aramex New Zealand has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Commercial Manager - Lower North Island to drive new business acquisition and customer growth across this strategically important region.
Working closely with franchise partners and key business customers, you'll focus on building a strong pipeline of opportunities, developing long-term commercial relationships, and delivering tailored freight and logistics solutions that create value for customers.
This role offers excellent autonomy, significant earning potential, and the opportunity to influence growth across a diverse market.
Job Description
- Prospect, qualify, and secure new business opportunities across the Lower North Island
- Develop and manage regional and national customer relationships
- Increase revenue and customer retention through strategic account management
- Prepare and present compelling commercial proposals and tenders
- Support franchise sales activity and contribute to regional growth initiatives
- Promote and expand Aramex international export opportunities
- Utilise Salesforce CRM to manage pipeline activity and forecasting
- Conduct regular customer reviews and identify opportunities for further growth
Job Requirements - Experience and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business or any other field
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in Freight Commercial & express shipping
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
- Strong customer focus and analytical skills
