Job title: Area Manager
About the Role The Area Manager will oversee the activities of assigned manufacturing areas at Precision Castparts' Structurals division, ensuring safe production, adherence to approved procedures, and achievement of quality and productivity targets in a cost-effective manner. This role may manage multiple shifts and/or departments, and may delegate production functions to Production Supervisors and/or shift/department leads to maintain consistent results across the operation.
What You'll Do
- Manage activities of assigned manufacturing areas in accordance with established procedures and approved processes.
- Ensure the safe manufacture of company products across a broad range of manufacturing processes.
- Satisfy quality and productivity requirements while controlling costs.
- May oversee multiple shifts and/or departments; may delegate production functions to Production Supervisors and/or shift/department leads.
- Support a broader span of control typical of Area Manager roles by coordinating with supervision and frontline leads.

- Experience managing manufacturing operations and leading teams across shifts/departments.
- Ability to adhere to established procedures and processes; strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
- Proven ability to delegate responsibilities to Production Supervisors and/or shift/department leads.
- Comfortable with a larger span of control as an Area Manager.
