The purpose of this role is to support HR essential total rewards functions for an area. Employees at this level work with a high degree of latitude, have expert knowledge, and handle the most complex issues and problems. This role reports to the Mgr, Area Human Resources; Mgr, Area HR Operations; or Mgr, Area Total Rewards and may coordinate the day-to-day work of other Total Rewards specialists, regionally. This role frequently partners with the workforce, area leaders, area HR team, and receives oversight and training from the Global Human Resource Department Total Rewards team

Responsibilities

• Conduct compensation and benefits analyses and respond to salary survey requests in partnership with HQ Total Rewards.
• Develop and maintain area salary structures for non-U.S. countries.
• Prepare and deliver annual merit increase proposals.
• Conduct geographic pay analyses and market pricing for area-specific positions.
• Support recruitment and job evaluation processes by providing compensation market data and recommendations.
• Lead and administer job evaluation activities for country-specific non-U.S. roles.
• Develop and implement health and wellness initiatives that support employee well-being.
• Deliver benefits education and training to HR teams, managers, and employees.
• Administer employee leave programs, including parental, maternity, disability, and related benefits.
• Coordinate and oversee local retirement and pension plans.
• Manage service level agreements with benefits and wellness providers.
• Coordinate employee mobility and relocation benefits, including approvals, in partnership with HQ Total Rewards.
• Provide compensation consulting, allowance reviews, and compensation change recommendations to management.
• Lead healthcare consumerism and health services initiatives.
• Provide benefits guidance and coaching to managers and employees in collaboration with local HR teams.
• Administer the Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
• Plan and coordinate employee health and wellness events.
• Manage employee discount programs, including communications, employee inquiries, and SharePoint updates.
• Ensure compliance and administration of tuition reimbursement programs and processes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current / valid Temple recommend and /or be worthy to possess one.

• At least 8-11 years of progressively responsible experience in compensation, benefits, human resources, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, professional certifications, and relevant experience.

• Expert knowledge of HR operations, specifically Total Rewards.

• Familiarity with best practices of HR functions.

• Ability to build relationships.

• Ability to consult with business leaders.

• Ability to deliver excellent customer service through advanced interpersonal skills.

• Ability to coach and develop managers.

• Ability to analyze and interpret data.

• Ability to utilize HR systems and other technology systems.

• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally through influence and compromise.

• To successfully perform the essential functions of the job there may be physical requirements which need to be met such as sitting for extended periods of time and using computer monitors/equipment.

• Area language experience required as needed.
