About this role
Job title: Architecture ASIC Engineer
About the Role Join Marvell's Architecture Coherent DSP team as an Architecture ASIC Engineer focusing on coherent DSP for high-throughput optical and sensing applications. You will participate in design, simulation, implementation, and validation of DSP ASICs, translating customer requirements into CMOS-ready solutions.
What You'll Do
- Research technical literature related to communications and radar systems
- Write Matlab/Python simulators to evaluate the performance of different DSP architectures
- Propose efficient solutions for coherent DSP for LiDAR/Radar
- Generate material/presentations to support technical discussions
- Write system-level simulators to evaluate the impact of optical components in the DSP performance
- Define, implement and execute functional verification and validation of the design
- Model coherent systems at different levels of detail in Matlab, C++, and Python
- Understand and interpret customer requirements for coherent optical systems and translate those requirements to concrete design decisions
- Create and evaluate innovative signal processing solutions that are suitable for CMOS implementation
- Write thorough documentation
- Present and defend your decisions and results to internal and external customers
