About the Role The College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) at the University of Cincinnati invites applications for Architecture Adjunct Faculty positions at the School of Architecture and Interior Design (SAID). SAID offers accredited professional and graduate programs including M Arch, BSID, BS Arch, MS Arch, M.IntD, and Ph.D. in Architecture. Adjuncts teaching in the studio-based programs contribute to SAID's liberal arts foundation and its professional curricula, which include design studios, seminars, and lectures. Positions are filled from a general pool, with the number of adjunct openings varying by departmental needs; appointments are renewed based on teaching performance and departmental need. Classes may be scheduled day or evening. What You'll Do
- Deliver studio-based instruction in architecture and interior design within SAID.
- Lead and participate in design studios, seminars, and design-related coursework.
- Contribute to SAID's liberal arts foundation and its integration with professional curricula.
- Collaborate with faculty and engage with SAID’s cooperative education (Co-op) program. What We're Looking For
- Relevant professional credentials in architecture and/or interior design (e.g., M Arch, BS Arch, BSID, MS Arch, M.IntD).
- Demonstrated experience teaching in studio-based programs and a commitment to student learning and success.
