Are you a detail-oriented, skilled drafter who enjoys turning architectural concepts into clear, accurate technical drawings? Do you thrive working closely with architects and bringing every revision through to the final detail? We’re looking for an Architectural Drafter to join our client’s design team.
Our client has an in-house design team producing high-quality architectural documentation, with a strong focus on residential (single-family) projects. In this role, you’ll work hand in hand with the in-house architects and project managers, translating design concepts into precise construction documents. You’ll produce and revise drawings in AutoCAD and Revit, prepare detailed construction drawings, and support presentation and design packages. This is a full-time remote opportunity with overlap with Florida working hours (Eastern Time, ET).

What you will do
- Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and details in AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD/BIM software.
- Create detailed construction drawings, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, millwork details, and furniture layouts.
- Work closely with architects to understand project requirements and translate design concepts into technical documents.
- Make timely revisions to drawings based on feedback from architects and project managers.
- Assist in preparing presentation packages and design documentation.
- Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for all projects.
- Follow CAD and filing standards.
What you'll need to know
- Degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM.
- Solid understanding of architectural design principles, building systems, and construction methods.
- Experience working on residential (single-family) projects.
- Advanced English level and excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Availability to overlap with Florida working hours (ET).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to perform self-quality checks.
A great plus
- Working knowledge of SketchUp and Rhino.
- Experience with 3D modeling and rendering software.
- 5+ years of experience in architectural drafting or a related role.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools (e.g., Asana, QuickBooks Time, Microsoft Office, Dropbox, Teams).
