Job Summary
Responsible for the definition, oversight, coordination and development of technology designs, along with the related road maps and lifecycle management.
Essential Functions:
- Aligns efforts across the various technical architectural disciplines within the company to develop innovative and appropriate architectures and roadmaps that enable the enterprise to deliver best-in-class services to their clients, partners and employees
- Provide overall architecture guidance, governance, and recommendations in support of technical objectives
- Work with the department leadership in establishing technology architecture strategy, goals, and objectives
- Partner with peers within all Information Technology groups to promote architecture principles, standards, methods, and strategic direction for the enterprise
- Facilitate overall analysis, design, artifacts, and technical requirements validation for strategic initiatives
- Lead / participate in vendor architecture related assessments and reviews
- Develop technical architectures that will drive reduced cost, increased availability, improved security, client experience, and greater flexibility
- Assist in performing IT due diligence on growth opportunities; identify the potential technology risks and opportunity concerning the technical environment by analyzing and assessing target companies
- Sets day-to-day objectives and delivers job responsibilities that may vary outside typical norms or practices. Work consists of tasks that are occasionally not routine and often works independently and is required to apply discretion within established operational boundaries and procedures
- Problems and issues faced are occasionally vague, and may need some analysis to understand. Makes adjustments to work methods to solve problems that may not be immediately evident in existing work processes and systems. However, may have references or help from norms and/or standard procedures to solve these problems
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
- Master’s degree is preferred
- A minimum of seven (7) years of IT and/or relevant business experience, to include a minimum of one (1) year of experience as an architect, technical lead, or business analyst, and three (3) years of experience in a relevant domain, such as software engineering, systems engineering, infrastructure, network, storage, information management, organizational development, or business processes
- Total IT/Security
Experience
- 5–8 years in roles like security engineer, systems analyst, or application security.
- Specialized AI Security
Experience
- 1–2 years designing, testing, or securing machine learning pipelines, LLM deployments, or AI applications
- 3 years full Stack Development experience
- Fluent in Python and server-side JavaScript/TypeScript

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Strong interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills; listening and critical thinking; presentation skills, facilitation skills
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with stakeholders at all different levels
- Flexibility during organizational and/or business changes
- Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Customer Service oriented
- Ability to lead technical evaluations and conduct research & development in emerging technologies
- Effectively disseminates information to appropriate audiences verbally and in writing
- Ability to actively gather appropriate level of participation and input to decision-making and foster it within teams

- General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Compensation Range:
- $113,000.00 - $197,700.00
- CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
