About the Role The AR/AP Manager oversees day-to-day operations of both accounts payable and accounts receivable within Illumina’s Global Accounting Shared Services. The role ensures accurate processing, controls, and optimization of AP/AR processes to support global operations and cash flow. Based in Bengaluru, India. What You'll Do
- Lead and manage AP team; ensure timely processing of invoices, disbursements, and reconciliations; provide training and mentorship.
- Drive continuous improvement of AP processes; implement best practices and ensure alignment with global accounting standards; manage AP systems integration.
- Oversee full AP cycle: receipt, approval, entry, payment scheduling; ensure supplier payments meet contractual terms.
- Analyze AP aging and produce regular reports for leadership; support annual budgets and forecasts; participate in cross-functional projects including mergers/acquisitions.
- Lead AR team; monitor collections targets; manage order holds/releases; resolve escalations; drive process improvements in AR.
- Manage Travel & Expenses; interpret policy; support audits.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes; support cash flow and working capital optimization. What We're Looking For
- 8+ years in accounting/finance; 5+ years in supervisory role overseeing AR and AP in multinational environment.
- Experience in AR and AP month-end close; proficiency in Excel; SAP experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present to senior leadership. Nice to Have
- CA or Masters/Bachelor's degree.
