About the role

We are seeking a full-time AR Specialist I who will be responsible for assisting with the timely completion of the daily accounts receivable functions within our Oils & Lubricants business stream.

About you:

• Operate main line phones.
• Process high volume credit card payments.
• Maintain Customer Portals.
• Create Customer Invoice Summaries.
• Enter Orders for Specific Customers.
• Follow up invoice queries.
• Liaise with clients.
• Reconcile monthly reports and debtor accounts.
• Answer all debtor inquiries professionally.
• Assist with month-end procedures.
• Responsible for collections for the company.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years accounts receivable experience preferred

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to work on a computer while sitting for up to 8 hours per day.
• Perform housekeeping duties as required.

Core Competencies:

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office.
• Ability to prepare Credit Account Applications for approval.
• Ability to negotiate payment arrangements.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to adapt to changes in organizational structure and software.
