About the Role

Capgemini Engineering is recruiting for an Apriso MES Functional Consultant/Architect to contribute to clients' digital transformation journeys. This role focuses on implementing and operating Apriso MES/MOM, designing and delivering MES solutions, and coordinating with surrounding systems to enable efficient manufacturing.

What You'll Do

• Apriso MES implementation, configuration, customization and operations support

• Design and implementation of MOM/MES systems

• Requirements gathering and high-level design based on client business needs

• Fit-gap analysis of business processes (manufacturing, quality, traceability) and MES capabilities

• System testing, UAT support, debugging and troubleshooting

• User training and ongoing support

• Coordination and facilitation of integrations with ERP and other peripheral systems (e.g., SAP)

• Adherence to standard development and deployment methodologies and documentation

• Collaborative team player who can drive tasks proactively and take ownership

• Japanese language business level (JLPT N2+) proficiency

• What We're Looking For

• Experience in Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) / MES deployments

• Practical experience with Apriso MES (1+ year)

• Experience in system development or deployment projects (requirements, design, implementation, testing)

• Basic knowledge of SQL and database management

• Practical experience in customization, configuration, and system integration

• End-to-end implementation experience for 1–2 clients

• Participation in UAT and SIT

• Ability to follow standard development/deployment methods and documentation

• Strong teamwork and proactive work style

• Japanese business proficiency (JLPT N2 or higher)

• Nice to Have

• Leadership experience in upstream phases of Apriso MES implementations (conceptualization, business design)

• Manufacturing industry experience (automotive, machinery, electrical, life sciences, etc.)

• Experience integrating MES with ERP or other manufacturing systems

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with clients and teams

• Problem-solving mindset and autonomous work style

• Willingness to learn new technologies and business domains

• Business-level English
