About the Role Apprenti IT - Automatisation & Modern Workplace H/F will join Valeo's IS Endpoint Technology team to help modernize and secure the digital working environment for colleagues in Cergy. The role focuses on evaluating MDM tools, automating IT operations (including AI-driven automation and API usage), and improving patch management, with responsibility for documentation and user support.

What You'll Do

• Conduct an in-depth study of Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools: compare market solutions, create mockups, and develop PoCs to manage a fleet of workstations (Windows, Linux, Android).
• Drive process automation by exploring and implementing innovative solutions such as Agentic AI and API-based automation to enhance IT operations.
• Analyze, improve and automate patch management to ensure cyber resilience across all devices.
• Provide support and documentation: help write technical procedures and assist support teams through the transition.
• Collaborate with IS team and stakeholders to deliver enhancements safely and with quality.

What We're Looking For

• Education: pursuing a Bac+4/Bac+5 (Master's or Engineering school) with a specialization in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Automation/Development.
• Strong intellectual curiosity (especially for AI and automation), analytical and synthesis skills; proactive and autonomous; enjoys project-based work.
• IT competencies: solid knowledge of desktop and mobile environments (Windows, Linux, Android) and security (Endpoint).
• Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, PowerShell) for automation; understanding of REST APIs.
• Interest or prior knowledge on integrating AI (LLMs, autonomous agents) into IT processes is a strong asset.
• Languages: French fluent; professional English (B2) required to analyze technical documentation and interact with suppliers or international teams.
• Duration: 2 years from Sep/Oct 2026.
• Location: Valeo Electrification - Cergy St Christophe; accessible by RER A and line L.
