Apprentice Care Support Worker on the Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship. This 14-month program (12 months apprenticeship plus 2 months for end-point assessment) is based in Braintree, Essex, and offers hands-on experience while developing the knowledge and skills to support people with disabilities to live independently and participate in their community.
Supporting people with daily living activities and personal care where required. Providing practical, emotional and social support. Encouraging hobbies, interests and community involvement. Helping people make choices and maintain their independence. Supporting with appointments, correspondence and day-to-day life administration. Working with families, carers and professionals to provide person-centred support. Maintaining accurate records and following safeguarding procedures. Promoting dignity, wellbeing and inclusion at all times.
Passionate about helping others and making a positive difference. Kind, empathetic and respectful of individual needs. A good communicator who enjoys working with people. Eager to learn and complete a Level 3 apprenticeship. Comfortable using technology such as smartphones, computers and online systems. Reliable, resilient and able to work as part of a team. Flexible to work shifts, including weekends, bank holidays and occasional sleep-in or waking night duties. No previous care experience is required – we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
