We’re looking for an Applications Engineering, Principal Engineer to join our team and help customers succeed with our frontend and backend design flows.
What You'll Do
- Work on frontend synthesis and backend physical design.
- Use PnR tools such as ICCII, Fusion Compiler or other EDA tools.
- Leverage your understanding of advanced process nodes, physical design, and low power design methodologies.
- Utilize your scripting skills to automate processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on design experience, particularly in frontend synthesis and/or backend physical design.
- Deep understanding of RTL2GDS design flow, CPU/GPU design, and low power design methodologies.
- Experience with advanced process nodes and solid scripting skills.
- Proficiency with PnR tools such as ICCII, Fusion Compiler, or other EDA tools; familiarity with IC Compiler I/II.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl and TCL.
- Business-level English; strong communication, self-starter attitude, and ability to engage with senior personnel and collaborate across teams.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with IC Compiler I/II, Fusion Compiler or competitive EDA tools.
