About this role

Job title: Applications Engineer - Wire Annealing Furnaces

About the Role This role focuses on supporting the promotion and deployment of continuous feed wire annealing furnaces designed for tungsten wire filament annealing. The position highlights understanding features such as multiple open-ended wire feed tubes, a unique temperature gradient for controlled heat up and cool down, and operation in inert gas or hydrogen environments, with optional oxidation furnaces to broaden application ranges.

What You'll Do

  • Communicate product specifications: temperatures up to 2500°C, up to 12 wire feed tubes, unique temperature gradient, and hot zones made of tungsten, molybdenum, or tantalum.
  • Support customers and internal teams in configuring furnaces for continuous operation in inert gas or hydrogen.
  • Assist with integration of wire feed systems (inlet/outlet flanges) and auxiliary oxidation furnaces to expand application range.
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure reliability and ease of operation of the furnaces.

What We're Looking For

  • Interest or experience in high-temperature furnace technology and materials processing.
  • Ability to understand and explain complex product specifications and applications.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with tungsten/molybdenum/tantalum hot zones and high-temperature furnace operation.
