About the Role This role focuses on supporting customization and integration of arc melting furnace systems, including a range of optional components described by Materials Research Furnaces, LLC. The successful candidate will work with customers and engineering teams to understand needs for custom cavities, crystal growth configurations, vacuum systems, and related accessories to ensure reliable, high-purity processing environments. What You'll Do
- Collaborate with customers to determine shapes and dimensions for sample/melt cavities and assist with configuration during order placement.
- Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of arc melting furnaces with options such as high vacuum systems, load locks, rotating hearths, button flippers, splat rods, and multiple arcs.
