Job title: Application Support Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to provide support for EDI transactions, FTP file transfers, ABI/customs uploads and general application support for Southern Border customer-related processes. The successful candidate will troubleshoot customs clearance issues, coordinate with customers for FTP password changes and configuration requirements, support client testing, validate application errors, perform retriggers/reprocessing, and work with business, technical, client, and vendor teams to ensure smooth shipment and customs data processing. Fluency in Spanish and English to coordinate with LATAM customers.
What You'll Do
- Provide support for EDI transactions, file-based data exchanges, FTP/SFTP/FTP2 processes and general application troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with FTP/infrastructure teams for password changes, access issues, connectivity problems, and file transfer requirements.
- Support client testing, validate application errors, and perform retriggers/reprocessing as needed.
- Work with business, technical, client, and vendor teams to ensure smooth shipment and customs data processing.
- Assist with troubleshooting related to customs clearance and ABI/customs uploads/downloads.
- Maintain documentation and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in Application Support, EDI Support, or Integration Support.
- Hands-on experience with EDI transactions, file-based data exchanges, FTP/SFTP/FTP2, and Application troubleshooting.
- Experience coordinating with FTP/infrastructure teams for password changes, access issues, connectivity problems, and file transfer requirements.
- Experience with testing, structured file validation, data mapping, and file troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of ABI/customs processes, including uploads, downloads, and customs-related data flows.
- Familiarity with ticketing/change tools such as SMC, ADO, ServiceNow, ELF, Jira, or similar.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder coordination, and documentation skills.
- Fluent in Spanish and English to interact with teams and Vendors.
Nice to Have
- Experience in logistics, shipping, transportation, customs, supply chain, or cross-border operations.
- Experience supporting Southern Border customer applications or customs-related systems.
- Basic SQL knowledge for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of flat files, delimited files, XML, JSON, or other EDI formats.
- Experience with batch monitoring, job reruns, file reprocessing, and Application validations.
- A plus if a candidate has Cargowise experience.
