Application Development Manager (.NET)

About the Role Application Development Manager (.NET) is a direct-hire role in Plano, TX. The position leads priorities, resources, and delivery of system changes, enhancements, and issue resolutions while ensuring security, compliance, performance, and vendor management. You will collaborate cross-functionally to align business priorities with technology initiatives and drive continuous improvement. What You'll Do

• Define priorities, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of system changes, enhancements, and issue resolutions.
• Manage vendor relationships and work with external partners.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business priorities and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with IT security, data privacy, and SOX/internal audit requirements.
• Drive system performance and process improvement initiatives; monitor stability and availability.
• Describe software structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects to project stakeholders; provide specifications for solution definition, management, and delivery.
• Develop resource and capacity plans aligned with business objectives.
• Establish and enforce development policies, processes, and quality assurance standards. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years in Microsoft technologies (e.g., .NET, C#, SQL Server, Azure services) in a highly regulated field such as insurance or finance.
• 5+ years of experience in an application development role.
• 4+ years of experience in a management role.
• Experience in software development methodologies, version control, and testing practices.
• Ability to multi-task; strong collaboration, results orientation, and relationship-building with leaders.
• Demonstrated strong managerial, supervisory, team management, and leadership skills with a proven track record of success.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; solid understanding of software development methodologies, programming languages, and web technologies.
• Broad knowledge to support various corporate business functions. Compensation & Benefits
• Salary: Estimated min $160,000.00 - max $180,000.00 per year (USD).
