Application Architect

About the Role The role focuses on creating exceptional and detailed architectural designs for applications, providing thought leadership, and enabling delivery teams to deliver strong client engagement and satisfaction. It encompasses enterprise-wide architecture, standards, RFP responses, and driving agility, scalability, and faster time to market through modern technologies and patterns. What You'll Do

• Develop architectural applications for new deals and major change requests in existing deals, creating enterprise-wide architecture that is scalable, reliable, and manageable
• Manage application assets and direct development efforts to improve solution delivery and agility
• Guide construction and assembly of application components and services to support solution architecture and development
• Maintain frameworks and artefacts used in implementing applications with reference to the overall application portfolio
• Promote architecture paradigms such as SOA and microservices to achieve agility and faster time to market
• Provide responses to client RFPs and ensure overall design assurance; develop a portfolio roadmap for to-be-solutions
• Analyze technology environment and client requirements to set collaboration design framework/architecture; create complete RFPs per client standards
• Provide technical leadership across design, development and implementation of custom solutions using modern technology
• Define current state solutions, identify improvements and tradeoffs to define target state solutions; articulate architectural targets and reusable patterns; propose investment roadmaps
• Evaluate solutions to integrate with the broader technology ecosystem; track industry trends and align to current/future IT needs
• Provide technical and strategic inputs during project planning in the form of designs and recommendations
• Identify opportunities (account mining) within existing clients; collaborate with stakeholders to ensure conformance with Enterprise Architecture
• Identify implementation risks and potential impacts; create new revenue streams via APIs for clients; apply Agile and DevOps to reduce manual work What We're Looking For
• Deep expertise in enterprise architecture and application design for large-scale enterprise systems
• Strong experience with service-oriented architecture, microservices, APIs, and solution architecture
• Proficiency in responding to RFPs, setting design assurance, and aligning solutions to business outcomes
• Ability to define target state architecture, roadmaps, and reusable patterns; capable of communicating targets to stakeholders
• Experience with automation, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices to accelerate delivery
• Knowledge of cloud transformation (migration and modernization), deployment architectures, and integration patterns
• Familiarity with emerging technologies such as IoT, blockchain, machine learning and mesh-based app/service architecture Nice to Have
