About this role

About the Role The Application Analyst II supports advanced application issues and leads lifecycle management, implementations and upgrades to enable staff to work more efficiently. You will analyze business requirements, design scalable solutions, and ensure changes align with Dana-Farber's objectives. The role also provides guidance to junior analysts and contributes to process improvements and system optimization.

What You'll Do

  • Own complex application features end-to-end (design → build → test → deploy → support) including configuration, customization, and enhancements.
  • Design and validate integrations and data flows in coordination with engineering and infrastructure teams.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications; design digital solutions at team, department, and enterprise levels.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans; oversee testing cycles and validate production readiness.
  • Resolve complex application issues; lead major incident response and problem management efforts; implement preventive fixes.
  • Create training programs and advanced end-user documentation; serve as subject matter resource for users and support teams.
  • Collaborate with vendors, developers, and cross-functional teams; coordinate releases and adoption of new functionality.
  • Mentor junior analysts; define support standards and best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience with collaboration platforms, low-code/no-code tools, system administration, and productivity technologies.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Quickbase, Smartsheet, Dropbox, SurveyMonkey, Panopto, LinkedIn Learning, and Microsoft 365 apps including SharePoint, Teams, Forms, and Power Apps.
  • Ability to own features end-to-end, translate requirements into functional specifications, and design scalable digital solutions.
  • Experience with ServiceNow queue management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $90,900 - $101,800 per year.
