About this role
About the Role The Southeast Land Trust (SELT) is coordinating volunteer support for Apple Harvest Day, a large downtown festival in Dover. Volunteers will help with setup, outreach, merchandise sales, and teardown to support the event and promote SELT's work. What You'll Do
- Set up and tear down the event (including pop-up tent, tent weights, outreach box, publications, merchandise, and a small table) and assist with loading items at the end of the day
- Represent SELT by talking about the organization, selling SELT merch (which includes memberships), handing out Trail Guides, and spreading awareness for SELT’s work during assigned shifts
- Engage attendees and help the event run smoothly until the area winds down What We're Looking For
- Comfort with lifting up to 30 pounds
- Friendly, outgoing individuals who can discuss SELT and memberships
- Reliable team players for their assigned shift times Nice to Have
- Prior volunteer/event experience (not required) Compensation & Benefits
