About the Role The A&F Leadership Development Programs are highly competitive, designed to develop future leaders through a blend of classroom sessions, on-the-job training, mentorship, and exposure to senior leadership. This full-time Apparel Designer role is based in A&F Co.'s Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio, and offers a pathway to shape seasonal product for the brand as part of an entrepreneurial, internal-promote culture.
What You'll Do
- Take product from initial concept through production for the brand's lifestyle lines.
- Stay on top of emerging trends by market shopping, researching vintage, and understanding customer needs.
- Manage all aspects of product development from fabric and trim selection to garment fit (including live model fittings).
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to execute the brand vision and seasonal mood directions.
- Participate in the development process to support business priorities at the Home Office.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or current junior status pursuing a degree; minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Passion for the A&F brands and the role.
- Ability to identify and interpret relevant fashion trends.
- Solid technical skills with a good eye for color.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
- Desire for adventure, curiosity, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, structured environment.
- Demonstrated interest in learning and growth.
- To be eligible, submit unofficial transcripts, portfolios, and resumes with GPA.
