Job title: API Gateway Engineer (APIGEE / Layer 7) - Remote
We are seeking an API gateway engineer with expertise in APIGEE or Layer 7 to support remote engagements with clients such as Hexaware. The role involves designing, implementing and hosting API gateway solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.
What You'll Do
- Lead or contribute to API gateway platform implementations (APIGEE and/or Layer 7).
- Implement and host API gateways (APIGW) on cloud and manage on-prem deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client engineers to deliver integration solutions.
- Work in English and in a remote client-engagement context.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in software development or related field.
- 7 years of experience working on API gateway products, preferably APIGEE or Layer 7 (or both).
- 5 years with on-premises/cloud-based implementations.
- Proven experience leading at least one API gateway implementation.
- OpenSource Integration Solutions experience.
- Advanced English proficiency.
Nice to Have
- Experience with other API gateways or open-source integration tools.
