Role Overview

This organization is seeking a professional Integration and API Specialist to support key enterprise technology initiatives. The selected specialist will participate in a major modernization initiative, designing and developing the API and integration layers supporting critical financial transaction screening systems. The position involves working with modern architectures, containerized environments, and machine learning decision-making platforms in a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build robust integration frameworks and Prediction Integrator API interfaces.

• Develop outbound API calls to machine learning platforms and process corresponding responses.

• Integrate enterprise solutions with Continuity CMAPI and Real-Time Payment APIs.

• Design and integrate Negative News APIs for enhanced search capabilities.

• Perform complex JSON payload transformations across systems.

• Implement strict API security protocols, including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and mTLS.

• Build reliable error handling and automated retry mechanisms.

• Implement comprehensive audit logging, monitoring, and observability metrics.

• Support OpenShift and Kubernetes containerized deployments.

• Required Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree is required.

• Experience: Experience in financial services, banking, or specialized transaction screening domains is required.

Skills

• Proficiency in REST API design and development, Java, Spring Boot, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and API security protocols. Experience with JSON payload transformations, enterprise integration patterns, and messaging systems like Kafka or IBM MQ is required.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with FircoSoft screening systems.

• Familiarity with WorkFusion or similar AI/ML-driven decisioning tools.

• Exposure to MuleSoft or Informatica platforms.

• Strong troubleshooting capabilities within containerized pods and microservices environments.
