Job title: APeX Claims Analyst
About the Role APeX Claims Analyst at UCSF will develop, support and maintain Epic's Professional and Hospital Billing Claims applications. The role involves configuring, building, installing and maintaining the APeX application, under the direction of the Team Lead or Manager, and coordinating issues across projects for the application area.
What You'll Do
- Develop, support and maintain Epic's Professional and Hospital Billing Claims applications.
- Configure, build, install and maintain the APeX application under supervision of Team Lead/Manager.
- Coordinate all issues that arise during projects for the application area.
- Analyze workflows and understand policies, procedures, and constraints of the clinical or business operations supported by the application.
- Investigate and document operational specifications and application functionality.
- Analyze new releases to determine workflow modifications; perform builds and conduct system testing.
- Develop and document internal procedures and establish change control processes for the application.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a clinical applications professional on medium-sized projects.
- Experience with Epic APeX Professional and Hospital Billing Claims modules.
- Ability to analyze workflows, document operational specifications, and understand policies and constraints.
- Experience configuring, building, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and change-control skills.
- Ability to work under the direction of a Team Lead/Manager and collaborate with stakeholders.
