Job Description

We are seeking experienced and technically capable Apartment Hotel Maintenance & Facilities Officers to maintain the property, equipment, utilities, and facilities of a serviced apartment in Apo, Abuja. The ideal candidates should have 4–7 years of relevant experience in hotels, serviced apartments, residential properties, facilities management, or similar environments. The successful candidates will support the smooth operation of the apartment hotel by carrying out repairs, preventive maintenance, inspections, and general facilities support.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections of apartments, facilities, equipment, and utilities.

• Repair basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, mechanical, and general maintenance tasks.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and reported faults.

• Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce equipment breakdowns and operational disruptions.

• Monitor water supply, power systems, air-conditioning, plumbing, and other essential utilities.

• Identify and report major technical issues requiring specialist intervention.

• Ensure common areas, rooms, equipment, and facilities remain safe and functional.

• Maintain basic maintenance records and report completed and outstanding work.

• Coordinate with external technicians and contractors when specialist repairs are required.

• Support management in maintaining the property in good operational condition.

• Requirements & Qualifications

• OND, HND, technical qualification, or relevant vocational certification is an advantage.

• 4–7 years of relevant maintenance or facilities experience.

• Practical knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general repair work.

• Experience working in hotels, serviced apartments, residential properties, or similar facilities is preferred.

• Ability to identify and troubleshoot common facility problems.

• Good problem-solving and practical skills.

• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to urgent maintenance issues.

• Reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Salary

• N150,000 Monthly.
