One of our clients is seeking an experienced AP/CP Board-Certified Pathologist to serve as Medical Director for its Kalamazoo, Michigan practice. Key Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic pathology services in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Serve as Medical Director for the Kalamazoo pathology practice. Provide leadership for pathology operations and quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with executive leadership to enhance pathology services and operational performance. Foster strong relationships with physicians, hospitals, and healthcare partners. Support service delivery improvements and organizational growth strategies. Participate in quality assurance and regulatory compliance initiatives. Contribute to clinical excellence through effective communication and leadership.

Practice Highlights:

• Approximately 14,400 surgical pathology cases annually. Diverse case mix across multiple pathology disciplines. No autopsy responsibilities. Collaborative environment with strong physician partnerships. Established pathology practice with a long-standing reputation for quality and responsiveness.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic Pathology/Clinical Pathology (AP/CP). 5-10 years of pathology experience preferred. Prior Medical Director experience is not required. Leadership experience is welcomed. Fellowship training welcomed. Ability to obtain unrestricted medical licensure in Michigan and Indiana in a timely manner. Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills are essential. Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
