Job title: AOCS & GNC Engineer (m/f/d)
About the Role OHB System AG, one of Europe’s leading space companies, is seeking an AOCS & GNC Engineer (m/f/d) for permanent employment in Bremen. You will design and develop AOCS/GNC subsystems, develop and verify AOCS/GNC algorithms and software, and support satellite projects from start to customer acceptance.
What You'll Do
- Design and Development of AOCS/GNC subsystems
- Design, Development and Verification of AOCS/GNC algorithms and software
- Perform AOCS/GNC analysis and simulation campaigns
- Development of AOCS/GNC analysis and simulation tools
- Support to satellite projects from start to customer acceptance
- Support to satellite proposals and system studies for AOCS/GNC topics
- Preparation of technical documentation
What We're Looking For
- Engineering or doctoral degree in aerospace engineering or comparable qualifications and first professional experience
- At least 5 years of experience in the space business, especially with AOCS/GNC subsystems and software
- Good knowledge of Matlab/Simulink, programming language C and Office Tools
- Good knowledge in estimation and control theory
- High motivation and proactive involvement
- Excellent conceptual and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in international teams
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Fluency in spoken and written German is a plus
