Job title: Annuities Inbound Sales Consultant
About the Role The Annuities Inbound Sales Consultant role sits within Prudential's Annuities division and supports the Individual Retirement Strategies Group. You will work on a vibrant team of 20-25 professionals, helping financial professionals solve day-to-day problems and maximize their business relationships with Prudential. The position is Hybrid, with 3 days per week at a Prudential location in Newark, NJ, Dresher, PA, or Shelton, CT, and attendance at mandatory onsite/offsite meetings/trainings as needed.
What You'll Do
- Field daily phone calls, respond to emails, and routinely solve financial advisor needs as they arise.
- Deliver detailed responses to inquiries about Prudential product features, performance data, hypothetical illustrations, and requests for literature.
- Provide back-up coverage to Internal Wholesalers and their territories as needed.
- Proactively engage existing or prospective financial professionals in creative opportunities daily, using consultative selling techniques and by educating about Prudential solutions.
- Receive immediate training, as well as ongoing coaching and mentoring from experienced sales team members to equip yourself with meaningful sales and leadership skills for success in this role.
- Focus on personal talent advancement to prepare for opportunities to become an Internal Wholesaler.
What We're Looking For
- SIE, FINRA Series 6 (or 7) and 63 required. If not currently licensed, see Annuities Sales Associate position.
- Ability to pass State Insurance license within 60 days.
- Prior sales experience, preferably with annuities; knowledge of annuities concepts or the retirement industry.
- Self-motivated and team-focused.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility, resourcefulness, tactfulness, and a desire to continuously improve.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $57,200 to $94,400 per year (USD).
