Animal Services Operations Assessment Consultant

AlphaGov is engaging an Animal Services Operations Assessment Consultant for current city work. A city is assessing its animal services management and operations.

We confirm scope, schedule, and fee with you before any engagement begins.

What you'll do

• Assess shelter operations, staffing, intake, and outcomes

• Review animal control field services and policies

• Benchmark peers and recommend improvements

• Present to city leadership

• Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming

• Requirements

• Required

• At least 5 years of professional experience in animal shelter or animal services management

• Operational assessment experience

• Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant

• Nice to have

• Certified Animal Welfare Administrator (CAWA)

• Municipal shelter leadership

• Shelter medicine knowledge
