Job Description Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system, UChicago Medicine, as an Anesthesia Technician, Registry in our Anesthesiology department at the Hyde Park campus. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity. You must be based in the greater Chicagoland area.
The Anesthesia Technician supports anesthesia providers and operating room team members by preparing, operating, troubleshooting, cleaning, and maintaining anesthesia equipment and supplies. This position supports surgical and procedural areas throughout the medical center, including the operating rooms, trauma suites, pediatric and obstetric areas, radiology, PACU, ICU, Cath Lab, MRI, emergency department, and other procedural locations.
Essential Job Functions
- Sets up, operates, and troubleshoots anesthesia machines, monitors, and ancillary devices.
