About the Role The international Luxoft Automotive team is looking for an experienced Android Developer to contribute to the development of next-generation In-Vehicle Infotainment systems for an Italian OEM based on Android Automotive OS. The role focuses on developing and maintaining Android applications and selected framework-level components within AAOS/AOSP environments, delivering high-quality user experience, performance, and stability, and ensuring seamless integration with vehicle functions. Automotive experience in IVI or IVP is mandatory; familiarity with car services, in-vehicle features, ADAS, or functionality enabling integration between vehicle IVI systems and smartphones via USB, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth is a strong advantage. What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain Android applications for automotive infotainment systems using Kotlin and Java.
- Develop ICL functionality using the Qt framework, in line with project scope and requirements.
- Implement client-specific features using scripting languages.
- Work with Customer requirements (analysis, clarification, implementation) according to the project. What We're Looking For
- Solid hands-on experience in Android application development using Kotlin as the main development language.
- Strong understanding of Android platform fundamentals.
- Background of automotive software delivery environment based on ASPICE processes.
- Experience with the Qt framework for ICL functionality.
- Automotive experience in IVI/IVP development (mandatory).
- Strong advantage if you have car services functionalities, in-vehicle features, ADAS, or integration between vehicle IVI systems and smartphones via USB, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.
- Ability to implement client-specific features using scripting languages. Nice to Have
- Additional experience with QT and ICL-related work and knowledge of vehicle connectivity
