Role Overview

An established communications organization is seeking a skilled Android Developer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge mobile applications. The selected candidate will write software, resolve complex technical issues, and champion industry best practices across the development lifecycle. This role involves defining coding standards and collaborating closely with cross-functional departments to drive continuous learning and proactive problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable software for Android applications.

• Debug technical issues and ensure the overall project adheres to modern development standards.

• Oversee and apply departmental coding standards consistently.

• Communicate technical concepts and best practices clearly with the development team and related departments.

• Manage and optimize the development tools and frameworks utilized by the department.

• Promote continuous learning and initiative-taking within the team.

• Required Qualifications

• Experience: Candidates must possess at least two years of professional experience utilizing the Kotlin programming language, alongside hands-on experience with Android SDKs. A proven track record of publishing applications to the Google Play Store is required.

Skills

• Proficiency with developer tools such as Splunk, GitLab, and Kibana is required. Candidates must demonstrate a deep understanding of network layers, internet security, and data encryption. Competency in various protocols and data formats related to APIs, including JSON, XML, SOAP, TLS, and HTTPS, is essential.
