Anatomic Pathology Quality Specialist Technologist

About the Role NeoGenomics is looking for a Anatomic Pathology Quality Specialist Technologist for our lab in Ramsey, NJ. The AP-QST I works under minimal supervision in a moderate/high complexity Anatomic Pathology laboratory and supports the execution of quality imperatives. This advanced level role assists department site supervisors/managers to implement key quality priorities and initiatives set by the Anatomic Pathology Quality Manager and/or the Director of Anatomic Pathology. What You'll Do

• Demonstrate proficiency in core responsibilities of a Histotechnologist (HTL) and perform duties as assigned.
• Attend the Quality Monthly Meeting and any other required quality meetings.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Quality Management Program of the department.
• Ensure that site-specific department employees are assigned to the correct QMS job codes and assist with navigation of MasterControl and MediaLab Document control modules.
• Perform all AP Quality onboarding functions.
• Assist in preparation of Monthly Metrics and DIVE slides for Quality Review Board meetings for managers.
• Support department managers and QSTs in executing identification, investigation, and correction of nonconforming events (CAPA, Issue Reviews, Customer Complaints, Planned Deviations, or other nonconforming events).
• Primary resource to assist department management, QST, and staff with navigating the Issue Review and CAPA modules in MasterControl and training on processes and identifying IRs.
• Ensure all audit findings are closed with complete documentation.
• Assist operational management in maintaining an inspection-ready laboratory and department. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor of Science in chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution OR Associate of Science in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution OR Equivalent education of 60 semester hours with 24 semester hours in biological and chemical science courses.
• 2+ years of Histology equivalent experience (high complexity testing) preferred.
• Advanced understanding of general laboratory techniques with emphasis on department-specific techniques.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Nationally: HT (ASCP) or HTL (ASCP). Nice to Have
• Experience with MasterControl and MediaLab Document control modules.
• Experience serving as a Subject Matter Expert for Quality Management or similar programs. Compensation & Benefits
• Pay Range: $71,397.95 - $107,096.93 annually, plus bonus.
