Job title: Anaplan Model Builder

About the Role You will be a Model Builder SME for large-scale connected planning solutions using Anaplan within Synopsys' Centre of Excellence Transformation Team. You will enable transforming the finance function through connected planning and forecasting, partnering with global teams to drive strategy and execution.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the Model Builder SME for large-scale connected planning solutions.
• Gather, analyse, and document business requirements; translate to functional requirements and use cases.
• Convert existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models.
• Modify existing models as part of a connected solution, optimization, or to incorporate new functionality.
• Develop model documentation.
• Participate in data integration and migration solutions.
• Lead UAT testing and deployment efforts.
• Operate cross-functionally with some ambiguity, providing expertise to Strategy and FP&A teams on best practices for modelling and reporting.
• Build and develop Anaplan modules and lists based on model blueprints.
• Configure and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, actions, and other model settings to meet business needs.
• Monitor data flows to and from source systems to ensure all data is up-to-date and accurate.
• Perform root cause analyses and proposing solutions.
• Provide hands-on training to new end users on Anaplan models and documenting processes.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technology Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in operations or FP&A leveraging Anaplan, or completion of 3+ Anaplan implementation projects as a Model Builder.
• Certified Anaplan Model Builder, level 2 or higher.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Snowflake and other integration tools is a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Experience with multi-dimensional or cube-based planning and reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of business processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; integrity, initiative, creativity, and passion.
• Proven record of career progression; experience in fast-changing environment; strong teamwork skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Snowflake and other integration tools is a plus.
