The Analytics Engineer II sits on the Marketing Technology team and develops, maintains, and improves the data solutions that support Marketing and growth reporting. The role combines data engineering, business intelligence, and analytics development to create trusted datasets, maintain reliable pipelines, and deliver operational reporting. Working closely with the Sr. Growth Analytics Manager, you will build a strong understanding of OneDigital's data ecosystem and help improve our data products over time. You will use AI-assisted tools to accelerate pipeline development, testing, and documentation, while retaining accountability for governance decisions, data quality judgment, and business context.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Integration

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL transformations in Snowflake for Marketing and Sales reporting
  • Build and support ETL/ELT pipelines and integrations across Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Azure, and APIs
  • Follow established CI/CD practices and execute test cases to validate changes before production
  • Monitor scheduled jobs and troubleshoot production issues

Data Quality, Governance & Security

  • Monitor data quality, investigate discrepancies, and build automated validation and reconciliation processes
  • Maintain documentation for datasets, data flows, lineage, and transformation logic
  • Apply access controls and follow privacy and handling requirements (PII/PHI) in accordance with company policy, escalating gaps or exceptions to the Sr. Growth Analytics Manager

Business Intelligence Development

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Domo and Power BI based on business requirements
  • Develop reusable datasets and semantic models, including clean, structured datasets that support AI and predictive modeling
  • Optimize dashboard performance and usability

Analytics Partnership

  • Partner with the Sr. Growth Analytics Manager to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Treat recurring datasets and dashboards as products: gather feedback, prioritize enhancements, and document intended use
  • Coordinate with cross-functional data owners when upstream changes could affect Marketing reporting
  • Support ad hoc analytical requests

Required Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence, or data engineering
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred)
  • Experience building ETL/ELT processes
  • Experience with Domo, Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms
  • Understanding of dimensional modeling and relational databases
  • Experience with Git or version control
  • Working understanding of data security and privacy best practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including explaining findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage multiple requests with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Marketing or sales analytics experience
  • Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, and API integrations
  • Azure Data Factory or Azure Blob Storage; Coalesce or similar tools
  • CI/CD and automated testing for data pipelines
  • Exposure to preparing datasets for ML/AI; familiarity with data governance frameworks
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, information systems, or a related field (equivalent experience considered)

Curious about how data supports business decisions, takes initiative, troubleshoots methodically, values documentation and responsible data handling, and is eager to grow technical, business, and AI/ML knowledge.

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $95,000 to $130,000 per year.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
