Job title: Analytics Engineer

We are seeking an Analytics Engineer who can translate objectives into data-driven solutions and deliver high-quality insights for analytics and reporting.

What You'll Do

• Understand project/assignment objectives, translate them into analytics deliverables and communicate results with clarity.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and use-cases in the analytics domain.
• Utilize descriptive and predictive analytics to discover insights and build data products.
• Create dashboards and pipelines that elegantly represent complex information (Tableau Dashboards, Tableau Flows).
• Build and maintain data solutions (e.g., cubes, SQL, ETL pipeline design, Python, Apache Airflow, Apache Spark).
• Maintain and support data analytic platforms (data warehouse and SQL/PostgreSQL data pipelines).
• Apply analytics techniques such as general linear model, ANOVA, decision trees, linear regression; interpret results.
• Demonstrate statistical concepts, hypothesis testing and campaign design.
• Understand standard predictive and classification models and when to use them.
• Develop and update technical documentation.
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
• Communicate analysis to stakeholders and executives in verbal, visual, and written media.
• Collaborate with teammates and across teams on day-to-day tasks.

What We're Looking For

• Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Experimental Psychology, Mathematics, Operational Research, Information Science, Engineering, Statistics.
• Experience: Fresh to 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Skills: Creativity, problem solving, bias to action; strong SQL, Python, Tableau/Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint; data warehousing concepts (dimensional modeling), OLAP and ETL; automation mindset; team-oriented; familiarity with payments or retail banking is a plus.
• Tools: SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Informix), Python, Tableau or Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint; ETL tools (Apache Airflow, Talend); Git; Dashboarding tools.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of the payments and/or retail banking industry.
