Analyst Systems IT

About the Role Analyst Systems IT will collaborate with business partners to identify problems and recommend solutions that improve processes, applications, systems, programs, or software. The role involves working with data, documenting requirements, and supporting IT-enabled business changes in a collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

• Investigate and document business requirements from business partners to facilitate discussions and conduct workflow analyses.
• Construct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and write specifications.
• Recommend solutions or improvements to business processes which can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
• Interpret business requirements to functional designs. Collaborate with Developers and Engineers on Technical designs and development as needed.
• Perform implementation and configuration activities including prototyping, analysis, system configuration, operational implementation and process documentation.
• Act as a liaison between the IT development group and business partners for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems.
• Working with large datasets within applications, develop reports and dashboards as well as the creative problem solving, leadership, and communication skills necessary to drive change.
• Ensure solutions are tested/validated sufficiently before being implemented in production.
• Work with the business partners to ensure process and system changes are communicated clearly and that users are informed and/or trained sufficiently.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in business or IT related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in system analysis and configuration; experience with project management.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, and programming; experience documenting complex processes and generating diagrams.
• Strong time management, prioritizing and tracking multiple projects with varying deadlines.
• Experience with cross-functional teams and ability to influence and lead across multiple functional areas.
• Strong interpersonal/relationship management and customer service skills.
• Strong business analytical and problem-solving skills; self-motivated with bias for action.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with Tableau, FOCUS, SQL, SSIS, Alteryx, Power BI, Python, and R.
