About the role

We are looking for an Analyst II, Treasury to join our growing team! The Analyst II, Treasury will be responsible for supporting the cash management manager with the activities listed below. The candidate should be a strong team player, have the competencies to work independently in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, be able to challenge the status quo and work at improving current processes.

What you will accomplish with us:

• Cash Management
• Prepare and maintain the group’s consolidated monthly cash flows, actual and forecasted.
• Monitor and update daily cash positions across multiple bank accounts and entities, ensuring sufficient funds for day-to-day operations.
• Strong ability to liaise with different business lines to determine cash needs and availability.
• Analyse liquidity: work on different analysis to optimize the cash and cash equivalent.
• Analyse forecasting data for all entities and integrate the data into a consolidated cash forecast.
• Lead different types of analysis and find solutions for optimization.
• Maintain, renew, modify letters of credit and credit facility.

Financing

• Finance cost analysis and forecasting.
• Support debt and equity financing transactions.
• Key metrics reporting (ratios).

Other

• Support the manager for different quarterly reporting.
• Develop processes and procedures for cash management tasks.
• Develop strategies to reduce treasury related costs.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Administration or Accounting.
• 5-7 years of experience in treasury, cash management or financial operations.
• Can consistently perform at a superior level with respect to both the accuracy and volume of work completed.
• Strong computer skills or training with standard office applications including strong data entry skills.
• Proven ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with others.
• Bilingualism (English/French), spoken and written, is essential. Need to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
• No work experience in Canada required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
