About the Role Analyst II, Engineering Change, is responsible for reviewing and processing engineering change notices (ECNs) related to specific programs, ensuring accuracy of information and updates across drawings and systems. The role coordinates with design engineers and plants to communicate changes via the Copeland system (Oracle, ETQ, TC EBS, TeamCenter) and tracks implementation through ECN sheets and operation bulletins. The position supports inventory planning and reporting to enable timely and controlled product changes.
What You'll Do
- Review ECNs for accuracy and completeness (plants affected/releases/changes/obsolescence) using Copeland systems and plant verification.
- Verify requested changes are reflected in engineering drawings.
- Ensure Copeland and related systems (Oracle, TeamCenter) are updated with changes.
- Process ECN in Copeland system to ensure proper review and approval by concerned plants and people.
- Seek approvals from platform approvers.
- Issue ECN to all plants for implementation.
- Complete ECN tracking sheet for program/change tracking.
- Prepare draft operations bulletin with part/model information (remove-add/released-obsolete/released-replaced) from Final ECN.
- Gather inventory information from plants and suppliers for inventory management of implemented changes.
- Analyze data using descriptive analytics to determine target implementation date.
- Issue operation bulletin to communicate the implementation date to all concerned plants.
- Monitor and follow-up implementation of changes across all plants; close operation bulletin after changes are implemented.
- Generate and validate reports; present to stakeholders; ensure data accuracy and compliance.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Industrial Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience handling/processing engineering drawing or BOM.
- Experience with ECN processes and tools (Oracle, TeamCenter, Sigma, Power BI) preferred.
- Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and documentation of changes (operation bulletins).
- Strong cross-functional communication and organizational skills; ability to coordinate with multiple plants.
- Ability to adapt to mid-shift schedule; hybrid work arrangement.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ETQ, TC EBS.
- Knowledge of inventory management practices related to product changes.
