About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Trade Compliance Analyst to join Solventum’s Global Trade Compliance team in the APAC region. This role will report to Solventum’s Director of Global Trade Compliance and support the growth and development of Solventum’s corporate trade compliance program. What You'll Do
- Country of Origin determinations for the Solventum product portfolio; analyze data, manufacturing processes and documentation; develop questionnaires and ensure ERP data are accurate and up-to-date.
- Manage vendor/supplier solicitations for origin certifications; participate in cross-functional meetings to identify potential origin changes.
- Customs Valuation: respond to inquiries; analyze retroactive price adjustments; identify requirements for disclosures and/or entry amendments globally.
- Export compliance: complete RPL and end-use checks; apply for export licenses; manage third-party compliance certifications; ensure ECCNs and embargo controls are current in ERP.
- Support preparation and submission of responses to government inquiries and disclosures.
- Conduct transactional and other trade compliance audits; implement corrective actions; monitor progress.
- Analyze import/export data to identify trends and opportunities for duty savings and process improvements.
- Support IT/ERP projects as needed (requirements, blueprinting, testing, stabilization).
- Develop and deliver training in global trade compliance; maintain policies, standards and procedures; establish KPIs and provide metrics to leadership. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in International Affairs/Trade, International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in global trade compliance in a law firm/consultancy or multinational organization.
- Strong knowledge of APAC country-of-origin and customs valuation regulations; US and local/regional export compliance knowledge a plus.
- Experience with customs auditing; SAP and GTS knowledge preferred.
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders and manage multiple priorities. Nice to Have
- Experience in multinational environments or cross-border teams.
