About the Role The Analyst – Finance services will provide thought leadership and domain expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, translating functional requirements to technical solutions with minimal learning curve. You will partner with the finance team and finance BAs to deliver solutions that meet business needs as we execute the growth strategy; a hands-on, senior professional who loves technology and coaching others.

What You'll Do

• Support and develop reliable and efficient technology solutions for the finance function.
• Ensure platforms automate and improve efficiency of business processes for maximum ROI.
• Build relationships with the finance function to enable collaboration.
• Stay ahead of new technologies and methods, introducing innovations as needed.
• As a key member of the Finance technology team, develop governance plans, delivery models and data management for finance and transactional data.
• Create documented functional and technical specifications for finance applications.
• Audit existing finance and supply chain system implementations and recommend improved deployment and utilization.
• Provide analysis for finance systems activity – month-end, period-end, issue resolution, reporting, scenario analysis.
• Support continuous improvement of the Finance team via technology: cross-functional process design, adoption of best practices, conventions and standards, advise on optimal solutions, manage relationships with third-party providers.
• Engage Finance stakeholders to influence decisions and conduct regular operational service reviews.
• Ensure robust systems process documentation and security controls aligned with expectations.
• Keep up-to-date with Microsoft D365 developments and communicate pipeline value to business stakeholders.
• In collaboration with technology leadership, support CFO and Finance Leadership to develop and iterate Finance technology strategy.
• Partner closely with Finance to maximise D365 benefits and deliver value.
• Direct the development and delivery of future systems roadmaps to support the future operating model for Finance.
• Analyse requirements, design and implement technology solutions aligned to business and Finance strategy; act as Solution Architect for D365 – F&O domain.
• Provide solution recommendations to business stakeholders as a D365 – F&O domain lead.

What We're Looking For Must-Haves:

• 8+ years’ experience supporting finance systems, including 8 years with D365 F&O.
• Strong financial accounting skills.
• Experience of SK Global treasury automation.
• Financial reporting.
• Experience of working on global systems with regional accounting practices.
• Chartered accountant or CIMA preferable with strong D365 F&O skills.
• Experience building functional and technical specifications for integrated solutions across technologies.
• Ideally have experience as a Finance workstream Analyst or senior member of the team.
• Experience with agile ways of working and other delivery methodologies.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Dynamics 365FO (essential).
• Strong accounting background and understanding of financial business processes.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and integrations.
• Detail-oriented with big-picture thinking; ability to develop testing strategy and translate into business plans.
• Comfortable writing clear business documentation (business processes, technical specs, training).
• Change oriented; actively generates process improvements and drives change initiatives.
• Great relationship management delivering results through teamwork; coaching and leadership within IT and Finance.
• Ownership of own development and proactive feedback to develop others; ability to guide and support the team.
