About the Role

Analyst Business Systems IT supports Medline's Supply Chain and SAP MM solutions by translating business requirements into SAP designs and working with global teams to implement efficient SAP-based processes. The role focuses on SAP MM configuration, testing, and collaboration with Development and Functional teams to deliver quality solutions that support business goals.

What You'll Do

• Understand Medline business processes in Supply chain and related areas.
• Interact with Medline Business users to understand and document functional/non-functional requirements.
• Convert documented requirements and proposed solutions into solid systems designs to be developed by others, in India or the US.
• Analyze the design to understand areas of impact and develop test plans accordingly.
• Work with developers to understand the designs and validate that the software solution will satisfy the business needs.
• Assist Development staff in development and unit testing of these designs, regardless of development language.
• Develop test strategies and execute application test plans.
• Assist Testing staff in executing test plans.
• Creative in building automation in process.
• Troubleshoot reported systems issues, using data analysis and debugging tools as necessary.
• Serve as primary contact for handling support issues during Medline India business hours. This includes, but is not limited to, end-user calls and scheduled batch job issues.
• Provide feedback to the Development team and Functional team to ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and the quality requirements.
• Communicate regularly with Configuration Analysts at Corporate Headquarters to stay current on new and changed business processes and systems enhancements.
• Provide regular verbal communication and clear written documentation on all assignments.
• Provide estimates and feedback to the Software Development Manager for project scheduling purposes.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of SAP MM modules experience.
• 3 years’ experience in functional software design.
• Good knowledge of interfaces with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
• 2 years of SAP system implementation (configuration) experience in MM modules.
• Ability to analyze processes, recommend changes, and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Release strategy in MM, Inventory Management features and functionalities.
• Excellent organization, communication, analysis, and planning skills.
• Experience in an SDLC-driven environment.
• Proven experience in testing complex test plans/scripts.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio).
• Strong and polished English communication, both written and oral.

Desired Skills: Deep understanding of business skills and procedures; Experience with full project lifecycle; Working experience within a variety of technical architectures. ABAP debugging knowledge is desirable but not essential.
