Job title: Analog/RF Design Manager

About the Role The Analog/RF Design Manager will lead Skyworks MSB’s Analog/RF Design Team in Bengaluru, building a strong RF/Analog IC design group for front-end modules used in Cellular and WiFi. The team collaborates with US design teams and reports to the Engineering Director. The role offers high visibility and the chance to make a significant impact in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

• Recruit & staffing: Partner with HR to build a world-class team capable of executing on complex programs.
• Technical Leadership: Act as the IC Design & Technical Leader for a team focused on the design of complex front-end modules; drive block-level designs and layout; participate in frequent technical meetings and design reviews with chip leads and US counterparts.
• Team Management: Experience managing large technical teams; set clear goals and drive accountability; leverage AI tools to improve productivity, automation, bug-tracking and reporting.
• Communication: Drive company communications, strategy, and goals via team meetings and regular 1:1s and reporting to chip leads and US managers.
• Travel: Travel to the US will be required from time to time.

What We're Looking For

• Excellent written and spoken communications; able to present program status & schedule progress to senior management.
• EDA & Software: Cadence suite experience; knowledge of IC layout tools; 2D/3D EM simulation; PVT and statistical simulations.
• Circuit Design: Broad & deep expertise in core Analog Design (ADC/DAC blocks, Bandgaps, Op-Amps, Bias blocks, Charge-pumps, Temp sensor, LDO, ESD, e-fuse and other cells); RF SOI technology including RF switch, tuning & RF LNA.
• Digital Design: SPI & MIPI interfaces, decoding logic, simple state machines.
• Process: SOI, bulk CMOS, SiGe; device physics, modeling; translate between models, simulation, layout, and measured performance.
• RF Packaging: Knowledge of RF multi-chip modules (3D packaging, assembly, thermals, EMI).
• Test: Knowledge of test equipment and common tests/parameters.
• Experience: 10+ years in IC Design; 6+ years in technical leadership and management.

Nice to Have

• Experience using AI tools to improve productivity and design automation.
