About the Role AmeriVet's Externship Program offers veterinary students meaningful, hands-on experience across diverse practice settings. You’ll work with experienced DVMs in a supportive, community-rooted environment to build confidence, clinical skills, and professional growth while aligning with your career goals. What You'll Do
- Assist in patient care and learn new procedures under supervision.
- Collaborate with seasoned veterinarians and clinic teams to deliver quality care.
- Build confidence in patient care, client communication, and clinic teamwork. What We're Looking For
- 3rd–4th year veterinary students ready to apply learning in real clinical practice.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Open to diverse practice settings (small animals, mixed, large, exotics) and a proactive learner mindset. Nice to Have
- Flexibility to accommodate school schedules; year-round availability across 200+ AmeriVet practices nationwide.
- Interest in gaining exposure to diverse practice settings and mentorship.
