Allround Monteur
GEA Food Solutions in Weert develops and builds packaging machines used globally in the food industry. We are looking for an Allround Monteur. Do you like working on complex machines where mechanical and electrical knowledge meet? Then we have a challenging role for you! As Allround Monteur you are responsible for assembly, testing and optimization of packaging machines. You work closely with colleagues from different departments and play a key role in continuous improvement of our products and processes.
Responsibilities / Tasks
- The independent assembly of advanced packaging machines in mechanical and electrical areas.
- Checking assembly steps and monitoring quality during the build process.
- Start-up of machines according to established protocols and performing extensive functional tests.
- Documenting test results and preparing PDI reports (Pre-Delivery Inspection).
- Participating in project teams and collaborating with various internal departments.
- Identifying and proposing improvements in quality, efficiency and cost reduction.
- Analyzing and solving deviations, start-up variances and technical faults with colleagues.
- Supervising customer orders and projects during the assembly process.
- Supporting colleagues during machine construction and training new employees and temporary staff.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- A completed technical education, e.g., in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or similar.
- Experience with machine construction, assembly or maintenance of technical installations.
- Knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems.
- Problem-solving ability and a proactive attitude.
- Good communication skills and a collegial work attitude
- Eye for quality, safety and continuous improvement.
