We are seeking an all-round dairy cattle employee to join the Ruminant team at the Sint Anthonis facility. You will be a key figure in our rundvee operations, supporting cattle care, facility upkeep, light machinery maintenance, and milking, while collaborating with fellow caretakers and research assistants to ensure smooth operations.
Care for dairy cattle including milking and calf care Monitor animal welfare and wellbeing Feed the animals and manage forages and silage Maintain the farmyard and perform minor machine maintenance Carry out other daily duties on the dairy facility Work closely with other proefdierverzorgers and onderzoeksassistenten
Collaborative, open, and practical mindset with initiative Accurate, structured, and neat work style; willing to ask questions Quality over quantity approach Minimum VMBO level with at least 2 years of relevant work experience (more is a plus) Ability to work independently or in a team Flexible and willing to rotate shifts, including weekends Willingness to travel/commute to Sint Anthonis
