Job title: ALC Library Courier
About the Role The ALC Library Courier delivers library materials daily between ACU and partner libraries within Abilene, including ACU, Hardin-Simmons University, McMurry University, the Abilene Public Library, and the Abilene Library Consortium office.
What You'll Do
- Courier library materials between the five key locations within the city of Abilene on a weekday schedule.
- Daily deliver library materials on a set schedule and route.
- Ensure materials are properly sorted for delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Valid Texas driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
- You will use your own vehicle to deliver and be reimbursed for mileage.
- Detail-oriented, friendly, and customer-service focused.
- Able to lift and carry boxes of books up to 25 lbs.
- Able to climb stairs, navigate curbs, and walk distances of 50 yards using a rolling hand truck.
